ZAP Solutions partners with Little Kelpie in launching their new website

Thursday, July 18, 2013

When creative studio Little Kelpie came to ZAP Solutions for the code development of their new website, we were overjoyed to participate! Our development team has already had the honor of working with Little Kelpie to deliver websites to their clients, so we were delighted to be tapped to handle their own site. Little Kelpie provided the graphic design and content strategy, while the ZAP team assisted with technical direction and code development.

The Little Kelpie website is simple, but very sleek. Their homepage features big, eye-catching slideshows for many of their favorite projects, such as the work done for The Andy Warhol Museum, Pittsburgh Art in Public Places, and Carnegie Mellon University. Their agency site also links to Little Kelpie’s e-commerce site, where you can browse and purchase letterpressed cards and prints. Clean code combined a minimalist design and powerful portfolio samples make Little Kelpie a force to be reckoned with. This site was built using Drupal, a Content Management System (CMS). A CMS system like Drupal allows non-technical employees to maintain a company website with ease. The development team at ZAP Solutions is well-versed in implementing many types of CMS systems including, but not limited to, Wordpress, Drupal, CAMP CMS, Ektron, Sharepoint, and Joomla.

ZAP Solutions had a blast working with Little Kelpie in this new capacity. Usually, the Little Kelpie team acts as middleman while we develop sites for their clients, but this time they were the client! The ZAP Solutions custom development team looks forward to a long and mutually beneficial partnership with the Little Kelpie team.
