Getting Political with ZAP Solutions

Throughout the past year, ZAP Solutions has had the great opportunity to partner with a local political marketing agency on several projects. This full-service agency provides integrated marketing campaigns for local and national political candidates. ZAP Solutions was tapped to build the websites for several of their clients. These websites serve as a central component of the larger marketing campaign, unifying social media efforts with political platform messaging.

The ZAP team has worked on more than 15 sites for such candidates as Robert Traynham, Todd Young, Tom Knox, Diana Irey Vaughan, and Tom Corbett. Typically working with tight deadlines on these projects, our development team always rises to the occasion to deliver beautifully coded websites that are also fully editable within Nationbuilder, a Content Management System (CMS). In using a CMS, these candidates have full control in tweaking and changing the content on their website to suit the needs of their constituents.

In addition to building the sites within a CMS, these websites incorporate responsive coding techniques. With responsive code, the content “knows” how wide your viewing screen is, and reacts accordingly. This means that these websites look equally gorgeous on a desktop, tablet, or phone.

One of the most important aspects of these websites is social media integration. Many of our candidate clients have several social media accounts associated with their campaign efforts, and they need a home base to tie them all together. On the candidate websites, social media is prominently displayed and linked, with such features as live Twitter feeds, YouTube embeds, and Facebook feeds.

It has been a great pleasure to partner with so many candidates to build their websites, and we look forward to many more to come!
